Unemployment rate in Georgia exceeds 22%

In the second quarter of this year, the unemployment rate in Georgia made 22.1%.
According to the National Statistics Office of Georgia, the figure has increased by 3.8% year-on-year.
In April-June, the unemployment rate was 24.1% (+2.3%) in urban areas and 19% (+6.2%) in rural areas.
Among men, this figure rose by 5.7% year-on-year to 24.5%, and among women by 1.2% to 18.9%.
