Trade relations of Azerbaijan with OIC countries: TOP-3

In January-July of this year, Türkiye, Turkmenistan and Iran were the top 3 of the 56 member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Azerbaijan carried out trade operations with, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
In 7 months, trade turnover with Türkiye amounted to $4,746,119,000 (+1.4 times), with Turkmenistan $568,054,000 (3.6 times), and with Iran $279,881,000 (remained unchanged).
At the same time, these countries are among the top three OIC member countries that Azerbaijan imports the most products from. Thus, imports from Türkiye was $1,323,060,000 (+1.08 times), from Turkmenistan - $515,267,000 (+3.5 times), and from Iran - $269,426,000 (+1.03 times).
Türkiye, Indonesia and Kazakhstan are the top three leading countries of OIC that imported goods from Azerbaijan. Exports to Türkiye amounted to $3,423,059,000 (+1.5 times), to Indonesia $89,135,000 (-1.1-fold), and to Kazakhstan $68,609,000 (+2.1 times).
Sudan ($170), Suriname ($2,490) and Mozambique ($3,510) are the OIC member countries that conduct the least amount of trade with Azerbaijan.
No trade operations were carried out with 7 of the 56 OIC member countries: Benin, Chad, Djibouti, Somalia, Gambia, Guinea and Comoros.
