Number of active VAT payers in Azerbaijan rises by 7%

As of October 1, 2026, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan increased by 4.8% compared to the beginning of the year, reaching 900,967.

According to Report, citing the State Tax Service (STS) under the Ministry of Economy, the number of active Value-Added Tax (VAT) payers in the country grew by 6.9% during January-September, reaching 62,414.

As of the same date, the number of active business entities (facilities) increased by 6.2% to 247,206.
