Land, construction materials drop in price in Baku

In February of this year, land fell by 3.52% in Baku (average price, manat/are) compared to January and by 14.22% over the past year. Nusrat Ibrahimov, chairman of the Azerbaijan Society of Appraisers and director-general of the MBA consulting and evaluation company, told Report.
"In the construction materials market, another segment of the real estate market, prices fell 0.21% last month and rose 32.48% during the year. Prices for stone products increased by 0.88% per month, 5.56% per year, wood products decreased by 3.43% per month, a 31.43% increase per year, and sand prices fell by 3.73% per month, an 18.18% growth per year. Prices for iron products, roofing, and cement have not changed during the month," he noted.
