Labor migration quota for foreigners working in Karabakh cancelled for five years

The Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Ali Asadov, signed a new decision on making changes in the "Rules on determination of labor migration quota" dated March 14, 2016, Report informs.
According to the decision, foreigners involved in labor activities in the liberated territories will not be taken into account when determining the labor migration quota in Azerbaijan. This quota is the limit of the number of foreigners who are supposed to be engaged in paid labor activities in the territory of the country.
This decision applies from January 1, 2023, and is valid until January 1, 2028.
