Cargo transportation by rail in Azerbaijan soars 7%

In 2023, 7,876,999 tons of cargo (+7%) worth $3,607,239,000 (-9%) were transported by rail in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

During the reporting period, the volume of cargo exported by rail was 3,255,397 tons (+12%), the value was $1,151,541,000 (-7%).

During the mentioned period, 4,621,601 tons of cargo worth $2,455,697,000 (+7.5%) were imported (-10%).
