Azerbaijan sees 18% growth in trade turnover with CIS countries

In January-August 2023, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and the CIS countries made up $4,261,917,000, up 17.5% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
The trade turnover with the CIS countries constituted 28.7% of Azerbaijan’s total trade turnover.
The trade turnover with Russia made up $2,786,710,000 (+26.8%), Turkmenistan - $644,767,000 (+2.7 times), Kazakhstan - $256,700,000 (-30.5%), Belarus - $218,349,000 (+18.8%), Ukraine - $208,742,000 (-2.4 times), Uzbekistan - $105,929,000 (-10.6%), Kyrgyzstan - $29,733,000 (+5.9 times), Moldova - $6,880,000 (-48.9%), and Tajikistan - $4,103,000 (+7.2%).
