Azerbaijan's spendings on pharmaceutical imports almost doubles

In 2021, Azerbaijan imported pharmaceutical products for $528.567 million, $151.422 million (40.1%) more than in 2020, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
Last year, the value of Azerbaijan's pharmaceutical exports reached $4.096 million, $3.455 million (6.4 times) more than a year ago.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan's imports of pharmaceutical products accounted for 4.52% of its total imports, while its pharmaceutical exports made only 0.02% of total exports.
