Azerbaijan's public catering turnover up by 22%

In the first half of 2023, the public catering turnover in Azerbaijan increased by 22.4% in real terms compared to last year and amounted to 1,128.6 million manats ($663.8 million).

Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee, that 50.5% of public catering turnover in the private sector belongs to legal entities and 49.5% individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activity in this field.

According to the information, 10.2 million manats ($6 million) of public catering turnover fell to the public sector and 1,118.4 million manats ($657.9 million) to the private sector.

The turnover of legal entities increased by 23.8% compared to last year and amounted to 564.4 million manats ($332 million).
