Azerbaijan's clothing imports from Türkiye rise 36.9%

Azerbaijan imported $36.4 million worth of clothing from Türkiye in January-July this year, Report informs, citing the Turkish Exporters Assembly.

This represents a 36.9% increase compared with the same period last year.

In July alone, Türkiye exported $7.6 million worth of clothing to Azerbaijan, twice as much as in the same month a year earlier.

Türkiye's total clothing exports declined by 1.4% year-on-year to $9.56 billion in January-July, while exports in July increased by 0.2% to $1.58 billion.

Germany was Türkiye's largest destination for clothing exports, importing $1.42 billion worth, down 12.3% year-on-year. It was followed by the Netherlands with $1.1 billion, down 4.1%, and Spain with $1.02 billion, up 5.3%.
