Azerbaijan increases spending on rubber imports by over 20%

In January-August this year, Azerbaijan imported rubber and rubber products for USD 90.323 million, up USD 15.394 million or 20.5% from the previous year, Report informs referring to the State Customs Committee.

Over the eight months of this year, Azerbaijan exported rubber and rubber products worth USD 286,000, USD 528,000 (2.8 times) less than a year earlier.

During the reporting period, the import of rubber and rubber products amounted to 1.23% of Azerbaijan’s total imports, and export accounted for 0 percent of the total exports.
