Azerbaijan increases spending on automotive imports from Türkiye by 23%

In January–April of this year, Azerbaijan imported automotive industry products worth $32.037 million from Türkiye.

According to the Turkish Exporters Assembly, cited by Report, this is 22.9% higher compared to the same period last year.

In April alone, Türkiye exported automotive industry products worth $14.279 million to Azerbaijan, which is 2.2 times more than a year earlier.

Over the first four months of the year, Türkiye's total exports of automotive industry products increased by 8.9% year-on-year to $13.748 billion. In April, exports rose by 22.7% to reach $3.855 billion.

Germany imported the largest volume of these products from Türkiye, totaling $2.203 billion, up 9.2% compared to the previous year. It was followed by France with $1.686 billion, an increase of 15.8%, and Italy with $1.268 billion, up 24% year-on-year.
