Azerbaijan increases purchase of electric cars from main supply market by 13 times

In January-July 2022, 186 electric cars (+4.2 times) worth $5.519 million (+3.6 times) were imported to Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the data of the State Statistics Committee.

in the reporting period, 65 cars (+13 times) worth $2.334 million (+56 times) were brought from China, 13 units (+8.3%) worth $1.01 million (+12.4%) from Germany, 27 (+93 %) worth $836,700 (+75 %) from the United States of America, 9 worth $544,790 from Belgium (there was no supply a year ago), 52 from Israel worth $493,540 (there was no supply).

Some 36% of the 160 electric cars brought to Azerbaijan from 12 countries last year were imported from China, 16.9% from Israel, and 15.6% from the US.
