Azerbaijan increases imports of cement, glass and ceramics from Türkiye by 7%

Azerbaijan imported cement, glass, and ceramics worth $15.295 million from Türkiye between January and April 2026, which is 7.1% higher compared to the same period last year.

According to Turkish Exporters Assembly, cited by Report, only in April Türkiye supplied Azerbaijan with cement, glass, and ceramics worth $3.951 million, marking a 2.7% year-on-year decline.

Overall, Türkiye's exports of cement, glass, and ceramics rose by 3.7% year-on-year in January–April 2026, reaching $1.452 billion, while in April alone they increased by 10.5% to $427.781 million.

The largest importers of Turkish cement, glass, and ceramics were the United States at $261.154 million (up 22.1% year-on-year), Italy at $106.666 million (up 17%), and Germany at $81.241 million (down 11.8%).
