Flour prices fall sharply in Nakhchivan

Due to the increase in the volume of grain production in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, the price of flour dropped sharply, the executive director of the leading grain processing enterprise Janmammad Janmammadov told Report.
According to him, a 50-kilogram bag of flour is currently offered for 27 manats, which is 10 manats or 27% less than the previous price:
"This year, the enterprise received 5,266 tons of wheat from local producers, while in the last 3 years, this number was close to 2,700 tons. About 270 tons of flour were sold in the last 20 days."
It is expected that the price of flour in Nakhchivan will affect the price of bread.
