Azerbaijan's spendings on sugar imports up

In January-October 2023, Azerbaijan imported sugar and confectionery products for $216.413 million, 21.7% more year-on-year, Report informs, citing the country’s State Customs Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan also exported sugar and confectionery for $21.743 million, which is 26.1% less year-on-year.
Over the first ten months of 2023, imports of sugar and confectionery products amounted to 1.53% of Azerbaijan's total imports, and 0.07% of total exports.
