Azerbaijan resumes export of corn oil to Qatar

In 2022, Azerbaijan imported 17,364 tons of corn oil worth $35.9 million, respectively, down 15% and 0.1% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

The country imported 8,128 tons (+5.2 times) worth $15.73 million (+5 times) from Türkiye, 6,474 tons (-46%) worth $13.9 million (-30%) from Argentina, 2.572 tons (+42%) worth $5.74 million (+60%) from Russia, 154.5 tons (-15%) worth $448,000 (-1.5%), from Italy, and 22.7 tons (+38 times) worth $64,320 (+43 times) from Georgia.

During the reporting period, 509 tons (-26%) of corn oil worth $1.391 million (+4%) were exported from Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan exported 489 tons (-26%) of corn oil worth $1.344 million (+3.3%) to Georgia, 12.23 tons worth $27,300 million (-30%) to Pakistan, 7.3 tons (-45.4%) worth $18,930 (-30%) to Kazakhstan, 0.44 tons (-74%) worth $1,000 (-69%) to Belarus, and 0.18 tons worth $870 to Qatar.

After five years and three months, the country resumed exporting corn oil to Qatar.
