Azerbaijan increases wheat import by 33%

Azerbaijan imported 409,038 tons of wheat in January-April of this year.

Report informs citing the State Customs Committee that this is 100,996 tons (32.8%) more than in the same period of 2022.

The cost of imported wheat for the year increased by $18,719 (17.8%) to $123,989,000.

Wheat import made up 2.6% of Azerbaijan's total imports.
