English club Arsenal are interested in signing Tottenham captain Cristian Romero, according to The Athletic.
The Argentine defender's future at Tottenham is reportedly uncertain. The 28-year-old has previously attracted interest from Italian side Inter Milan, while Atletico Madrid have also made attempts to secure his transfer.
The Gunners are currently monitoring Romero's situation as they look to strengthen their defensive line.
Tottenham are reportedly reluctant to sell their captain to one of their main rivals. However, Arsenal have not yet submitted an official offer for the defender.
