Türkiye receives over 11 million tourists in 4 months

11,093 million tourists visited Türkiye in January-April of this year, Report informs, citing the Turkish Statistical Institute.

According to the information, 85.9% of the 4-month indicator or 9.534 million were citizens of foreign countries, which is 27.5% more than the same period last year.

During the reporting period, most tourists came to Türkiye from Russia (1.153 million tourists; 2.3 times more). The following places are Germany (966,000 tourists; 18.7% more) and Bulgaria (797,000 tourists; 17.4% more).

In April alone, 3,322 million foreign citizens visited Türkiye, 29% more than a year ago.
