Turkish official: Azerbaijan can welcome 10M tourists a year

"I came to Baku for a day 18 years ago. Then I had the opportunity to come several times. Can a city blossom out so much? It is impossible to be unamazed," Turkish Deputy Minister of Treasury and Finance Nureddin Nebati said at the 25th International Business Forum (IBF) in Baku, Report informs.
"At present, Azerbaijan receives 3 million tourists a year and can increase this number to 10 million by simplifying visa procedures," he noted.
According to the Turkish official, the liberation of Karabakh creates new opportunities for businessmen, and the state also has investment opportunities.
"Azerbaijan is already recovering the money lost due to falling oil prices," the minister added.
