Tourist season to begin in April in Turkey

The beginning of the tourist season in Turkey is scheduled for April, Turkish Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy said, Report informs with reference to Haberturk TV.

“Our goal is to start the tourist season in April. We are planning to start with the tourist regions,” the minister noted.

“The season will start in the Mediterranean and gradually move to the Aegean region. There will be holidays in Russia at the end of April, and the vacation season will begin in all Russian-speaking countries,” the minister added.

According to Ersoy, the tourist season will start with domestic tourism in April, then tourists from Russia and the UK will arrive in the country.
