Number of people visiting Georgia from Azerbaijan announced 

In January-April of this year, 40,697 people from Azerbaijan visited Georgia, according to the National Tourism Administration of Georgia, the Georgian bureau of Report informs.

According to the document, this is 24,096 people or 2.4 times more than in the same period last year.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan ranked fifth for the number of travellers to Georgia. Top four countries include Turkiye (139,761), Russia (105,349), Armenia (91,190) and Israel (45,036).

The total number of guests who visited Georgia in January-April amounted to 820,796 people, 3.7 times more year-on-year.
