Number of incoming tourists down in Azerbaijan

In January this year, 36,100 foreigners and stateless persons arrived in Azerbaijan from 105 countries, Report informs, citing the Export Review of the Azerbaijani Center for Economic Reforms Analysis and Communication.

This figure is 6.3 times less than in the same period last year, and trips were carried out mainly for non-tourist purposes.

In January 2021, the volume of foreign citizens' transactions with bank cards in Azerbaijan amounted to 25 million manats (over $14.71 million).
