Network of guesthouses to be created in Azerbaijan

There are plans to implement a project to support large and small guesthouses in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing Florian Sengstschmid, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Azerbaijan Tourism Board.
Sengstschmid noted that currently, there are about 500 guest houses in the country.
“The need for guesthouses has increased due to the coronavirus pandemic. Research related to the form of support, their infrastructure, sanitary issues, and other matters is underway,” he said.
The Board CEO emphasized that a network of guesthouses is planned to be created within the project framework.
