Murad Aghabayli: Organizing special transport to mud volcanoes complex not that easy

Organizing special transport to the Mud Volcanoes Tourism Complex is not easy, chairman of Reserve Management Center Board Chairman Murad Aghabayli of the State Tourism Agency told journalists.

According to him, the complex is located approximately 100 kilometers from Baku.

"This route is one of the main tourist destinations. By simply turning 20 kilometers off the roadside, away from the main tourist route, visitors can reach the volcano. The other issue is that the mud volcanoes are located in an area very close to the Gobustan Reserve, which is visited quite frequently. There is no special transport, and this is the case everywhere. In other words, it is not so easy to organize special public transport to every tourism destination. However, I think the area is accessible to tourists who wish to visit this site," he said.
