Azerbaijan's tourism industry has all the capabilities to respond to the increasing flow of people, Kanan Guluzada, advisor to the Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan State Tourism Agency, told journalists, Report informs.
According to Guluzada, the existing potential is many times more than expected: "Azerbaijan's tourism industry is capable of receiving two or even three times more tourists. Our hotels, tourism agencies, and service sector have a sufficient workforce. New jobs are created every year."
Guluzada added that although the tourism sector is affected by regional tensions, it is superior to other sectors in terms of recovery: "Tourism is a sensitive sector, but at the same time, it is one of the most rapidly recovering areas."
