Azerbaijan, Vietnam explore prospects for tourism collaboration

Azerbaijan and Vietnam have discussed opportunities for tourism cooperation, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijan State Tourism Agency.

During a working visit to Hanoi, a delegation from the Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) held meetings with Vietnam's tourism authorities. As part of the visit, an event showcasing Azerbaijan's tourism potential was held at the Hanoi College of Trade and Tourism, organized by the ATB in partnership with the Azerbaijan Embassy in Vietnam.

The event was attended by Florian Sengstschmid, CEO of the ATB, and Shovgi Mehdizada, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Vietnam. Discussions focused on exchanging experiences and exploring opportunities for bilateral cooperation in tourism.

Participants included representatives of diplomatic missions, tourism industry professionals, travel agencies, and students.

The ATB delegation also met with the leadership of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration and VietJet Air to discuss further collaboration.

On September 4–6, Azerbaijan's tourism offerings were presented at the 19th International Tourism Exhibition (ITE HCMC) in Ho Chi Minh City, with ATB and its partners actively participating.
