Azerbaijan to develop new state support mechanisms for guesthouses - EXCLUSIVE

Azerbaijan plans to provide state support to micro and small businesses operating in the tourism sector, including guesthouses, the State Tourism Agency told Report.

According to the agency, the issue is addressed in the draft State Program for Tourism Development for 2026–2030, which is currently at the final approval stage.

"More detailed information on the support mechanisms envisaged will be provided after the program is approved," the agency said.

Various support mechanisms are currently in place for rural guesthouses. One of them is the Tourist Village project. As part of cooperation with the State Employment Agency, 12 rural guesthouses have been equipped with the necessary equipment.
