Azerbaijan's sanatorium and wellness potential presented in Astana

A presentation of Azerbaijan's sanatorium-resort and wellness potential has been held at the Embassy of the country in Astana, Report informs.

The event took place as part of a visit by a delegation of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation and brought together representatives of travel companies from Kazakhstan.

General Director of Kurort CJSC of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation Chingiz Hajiyev spoke about the conditions for treatment and recreation in wellness centers, modern medical equipment, services provided, and natural treatment methods applied.

Participants were also introduced to the activities of the Kurort Tourism Information Center, the electronic voucher issuance system, and the capabilities of the e-AHIK booking platform.

During the meeting, video materials about the sanatorium-resort institutions of Azerbaijan were shown. Representatives of Kazakh travel companies received answers to their questions.

The parties discussed the promotion of Azerbaijan's wellness tourism in the Kazakh market, the development of direct ties between travel companies, and prospects for the implementation of joint projects.
