Azerbaijan posts 34% increase in mutual tourism services

Over the first quarter of this year, mutual tourism services increased in Azerbaijan increased by 34.3% to $427.2 million.

Report informs referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan that tourism import ($215.9M) prevailed over tourism export ($211.3M), resulting in $4.6M worth deficit. The number of Azerbaijani citizens visiting foreign countries increased by 20.2%, while the number of foreign citizens visiting Azerbaijan increased by 49.8 times.
