Azerbaijan plans culinary and enotourism experience centers

Azerbaijan plans to establish the Bayil Culinary Experience Center and the Tugh Enotourism Experience Center, including a winery and vineyards, according to the State Program on the Development of Tourism for 2026–2030, approved today by President Ilham Aliyev, Report informs.
The program also envisages integrating information available on the "National Flavors" electronic gastronomy portal into international search and artificial intelligence systems and promoting the portal internationally and domestically.
The program's targets also include organizing at least one international gastronomy event and five festivals in selected gastronomy regions.
In addition, 200 chefs are expected to obtain internationally recognized certificates. Four international-status open championships will be held, with the participation of 400 chefs, whose knowledge and skills will be improved.
The program also envisages organizing an exchange of experience by involving 80 foreign specialists and achieving international media coverage reaching a total of 500,000 people.
