AZAL considers opening new routes to China - EXCLUSIVE

The Chinese market is among the destinations of interest for Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), and the airline is considering the possibility of opening several new routes to the country in the future, AZAL told Report in response to an inquiry.

The airline said it is continuously analyzing the development of its route network and assessing new opportunities across various destinations.

"Decisions on opening new flights are made after the necessary commercial and operational procedures are completed. Official information on specific destinations is announced only after a final decision is made," AZAL said.

AZAL currently operates direct flights from Baku to Beijing three times a week.
