Six members of Azerbaijani women's basketball team to study in US

Six members of Azerbaijan's women's national basketball team have received offers to join basketball programs at various educational institutions in the United States.

According to Report, the athletes will continue their education and sporting careers in the US starting from the new season, the Azerbaijan Basketball Federation told Report.

Salminaz Ramazanli will study at Louisiana Christian University, Ela Nur Gokcol at Georgia Court University, Aylin Akbarzada at John Baptist Memorial High School, Polina Shchukina at the University of Central Florida, Aylin Niftaliyeva at Commonwealth Academy of Springfield, and Deniz Gokcol at Central Point Christian Academy.

The continuation of the basketball players' education and sporting activities in the US is expected to create opportunities for their development in a new environment, familiarize them with the local basketball system, and help them gain experience.
