See Breeze 2026 beach polo tournament to be held in Azerbaijan

The See Breeze 2026 Beach Polo Tournament will be held from September 11 to 13 at Havana Beach in the Sea Breeze Resort.

According to Report, the tournament is being organized by the Azerbaijan Equestrian Federation and Sea Breeze.

Four teams representing Azerbaijan, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Russia will compete in the tournament, with 12 polo players taking part. The teams will feature athletes from Azerbaijan, the UK, Switzerland, Russia, Argentina and South Africa.

Two matches will be played each day at 4 p.m. on September 11, 12 and 13. The matchups will be determined by a draw held one day before the games.

Under the Beach Polo format, each match consists of four chukkers, with each lasting about seven minutes. Including breaks, a game is expected to last around 30–40 minutes. The schedule and match duration may be adjusted depending on weather and temperatures.

The final will take place at 4 p.m. on September 13, followed by the awards ceremony and presentation of the tournament trophy.

Alongside the sporting program, spectators will be able to enjoy DJ performances and other entertainment. Admission will be ticketed, with around 500 spectators expected over the three days.

The matches will be broadcast live by İdman TV. Polo Line, an online channel targeting the international polo community, will also cover the tournament and help promote it to the global polo audience.

See Breeze 2026 is intended to showcase equestrian sport in Azerbaijan in a new and dynamic format, strengthen ties with the international polo community and promote the country"s polo and equestrian culture, while highlighting Azerbaijan"s capacity to host international sporting events.
