Residents of Japan opposed the holding of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2021, Report mentions, citing Russian press.
According to the source, 35 percent of Japanese people supported the cancellation of Olympic Games and 45 percent stand for the postponement.
The mass vaccination of Japanese residents against coronavirus will not begin until February 2021.
The postponed Tokyo Olympic Games will go ahead next year due to the coronavirus pandemic. The opening ceremony is rescheduled for July 23, 2021, while the closing ceremony for August 8.
