II Games of CIS countries to be held in August 2023 in Belarus

The II Games of the CIS countries will be held on August 4-14, 2023 in Belarus, Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Igor Petrishenko said during a meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government in Astana, Report informs referring to Kazakh media.
He said that Cuba and Mongolia will also take part in them. The possibility of participation of some BRICS countries is also being considered.
The competition program includes basketball, handball, beach volleyball, beach soccer, mini-football, field hockey.
Earlier it was reported that Azerbaijan will be the venue for the III Games in 2025.
The I Games of the CIS countries were held in Kazan in 2021.
