Azerbaijan edge North Macedonia at U18 EuroBasket

Azerbaijan's under-18 women's basketball team claimed a narrow victory over North Macedonia in the FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket Division B in Romania.
Competing in the classification round for 17th-20th places, Azerbaijan secured a 75-73 win.
The team will play its next match against Estonia on Friday.
Earlier in the tournament, Azerbaijan suffered group-stage defeats to Romania (81-55), Portugal (90-52), the Netherlands (79-72) and Iceland (77-74).
