Multiple-car crash halts Formula 2 race in Baku – UPDATED

A multi-car collision brought the first Feature Race of the Formula 2 Azerbaijan Grand Prix to a temporary halt.

According to Report, the red flag was deployed following the incident, suspending the race.

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will conclude on September 26.

Both PREMA Racing drivers, Sebastian Montoya and Mari Boya, have been ruled out of the first Feature Race of the Formula 2 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

According to Report, Montoya was involved in an incident on his way to the starting grid. Boya's car came to a stop on track due to a technical issue and was recovered as the Safety Car was deployed.

The Baku race has resumed.
