Azerbaijan Sports Academy, US Embassy discuss education, research cooperation

Azerbaijan Sports Academy, or ASA, has hosted a meeting with a delegation led by Amy Carlon, chargé d"affaires of the US Embassy in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the academy's press service.

During the meeting, the guests were briefed on the activities of the academy's MediaLab and Sports Medical Research Laboratory.

The delegation was also provided with detailed information about the modern teaching and research infrastructure established at ASA.

Amy Carlon said cooperation in science and education played an important role in strengthening mutual understanding and close ties between peoples.

The meeting also focused on opportunities for cooperation between ASA and leading US higher education institutions, as well as prospects for implementing joint projects and events.

The sides exchanged views on organising student and teacher exchanges and jointly carrying out international projects.
