SosialLab project to contribute to real economy, Azerbaijani official says

The SosialLab project will contribute to the real economy, Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan's National Observatory on Labor Market and Social Protection Issues Elchin Suleymanov told journalists, Report informs.

According to him, the National Observatory signed memorandums of cooperation with leading higher education institutions in Azerbaijan in previous years, and productive collaboration continues.

"This year, we are launching the SosialLab scientific research project. As part of it, we aim to develop the analytical and research skills of young researchers from 11 higher education institutions," he said.

Suleymanov noted that participants will be provided with training and support in conducting surveys, and after two months, the resulting analytical works will be reviewed by experts.

"We will submit the best analytical works to international scientific journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science databases. The Observatory assumes all expenses and revisions. We plan to publish the top 3 out of 11 papers in these journals, send the remaining ones to international publications and conferences, as well as publish a collection of abstracts of all 11 research papers," he added.
