More than 10,600 people employed in Azerbaijan's liberated territories

A total of 10,623 former internally displaced persons (IDPs) who returned to Azerbaijan's liberated territories under the Great Return program have been employed, according to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
The ministry told Report that 7,915 returnees have been placed in jobs through available vacancies, while 1,828 are self-employed.
In addition, 880 people have established small family businesses under the government's self-employment program.
To support labor market integration, vocational and preparatory training courses have also been organized for returnees, with 506 people completing the programs.
The ministry noted that specialists working in the liberated territories are entitled to a one-time allowance of 600 manats, five additional days of annual leave, and salary supplements as part of state support measures.
