Matthew Robert Baldwin: Housing unaffordable for many workers worldwide

In many countries, people cannot afford to buy housing with their salaries, Deputy Director General Matthew Robert Baldwin, who heads the European Commission's Housing Task Force, said at an event titled "Housing at the Heart of Global Coalitions" held within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Report informs.
According to him, the existence of this problem speaks to the economy of those countries:
"This is a very important factor. We must create conditions especially for providing housing to young people. Europe is ready to share its experience in the field of housing provision."
