Azerbaijan's DOST Agency, Moldova's social insurance body sign memorandum

A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the DOST Agency, a public social services agency under Azerbaijan's Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population, and Moldova's National Social Insurance House, Report informs.

The document was signed by Elena Tibirna, director of Moldova's National Social Insurance House, and Farid Mammadov, chairman of the Board of the DOST Agency.

The new memorandum provides for the study of the DOST experience, stronger cooperation in organizing social services based on the "single window" principle, and joint activities to develop modern social service systems.

The document also envisages pilot stages for applying components of the DOST model in Moldova's social security system, the creation of institutional and technical support mechanisms in this area, and the expansion of experience exchange.

The meeting also emphasized effective cooperation between the two institutions.

The sides discussed joint work with Moldova's National Social Insurance House to share relevant experience in support of the application of the DOST model in Moldova, one of the countries interested in the model.

It was noted that the new document will contribute to the successful continuation of work in this direction and the further expansion of cooperation.
