Hakan Moral: Unity and solidarity of Turkic states open great opportunities

The unity and solidarity of Turkic states within the framework of Islamic solidarity and the consciousness of the ummah open up great opportunities before them, said Hakan Moral, Representative for Religious Affairs of Northern Cyprus, according to Report's correspondent in Aghdam.

Speaking during a press briefing at the Aghdam Friday Mosque, held in connection with the international scientific‑practical conference dedicated to Sayyid Yahya Bakuvi, Moral emphasized that solidarity among Turkic states is unshakable.

"If we can instill the spirit of unity and solidarity under the consciousness of the Islamic ummah in our future generations, then we will have truly understood the legacy of Sayyid Yahya Bakuvi, Yunus Emre, Jalal al‑Din Rumi, and other great figures. I believe that strengthening cooperation among our religious institutions within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States, and consolidating Islamic solidarity and the spirit of unity, will be one of the most important steps toward the future, both for us and for the generations to come," he said.
