First group of Azerbaijani pilgrims departs for Hajj

The first group of Azerbaijani pilgrims has departed for the Hajj pilgrimage.

According to Report, 180 pilgrims flew to Mecca from Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

This year, Azerbaijan has been allocated a quota of 1,500 pilgrims. The cost of the pilgrimage is $6,100 per person.

It should be noted that the Eid al-Adha holiday in Azerbaijan will be celebrated on May 27–28.
