About 40 missiles are fired at Ukraine every day, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an address to the Danish parliament, Report informs, citing UNIAN.
"It happened this morning. Mykolaiv was targeted. As a result, seven people died and 22 were injured. Although they do not pose a threat to Russia, they are targeted," he said.
Zelensky compared this war to the Second World War:
"Cruelty toward us is more than vandalism in World War II. It is one of the most destructive wars in Europe. Dozens of our cities and infrastructure have been destroyed. Of these, 773 are educational institutions. Even churches and memorials to the victims of the Holocaust are targeted. The Russians are trying to ruin Ukraine."
