Finnish exporters will gain access to more diversified routes to Asia thanks to the TRIPP project ("Trump Route") – a 42-kilometer section of the Zangazur corridor passing through Armenian territory, according to Report.
"With the launch of TRIPP and the strengthening of the Middle Corridor, Finnish exporters will gain access to more diversified routes to Asia. This means new markets, as well as shorter, safer, and more environmentally friendly transport links," Azerbaijani Ambassador to Finland Zaur Ahmadov highlighted this in an article for Daily Finland.
He explained that after TRIPP becomes operational, the total capacity of the Middle Corridor will increase, "creating new opportunities for Finnish companies through faster and more secure supply chains."
Ahmadov also emphasized that the joint declaration signed at the White House by the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia, with US mediation, opens a "new chapter" in South Caucasus history.
"The breakthrough in Washington and the end of the OSCE Minsk Group mark a new beginning. The region has moved out of a geopolitical risk zone and entered a stage of defined peace, with further steps already coordinated. Thus, the South Caucasus now has every opportunity to become a bridge between Europe and Asia, opening doors for trade, cooperation, and cultural exchange," Ahmadov concluded.
