Zakharova comments on Armenia's decision to hold snap parliamentary elections

Russia views Armenia's decision to hold snap parliamentary elections in 2021 as an internal affair of this country, Report informs, quoting Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.
"We have recorded that the parties could agree on the date of the elections," Zakharova said at a weekly briefing, commenting on the internal political situation in Armenia.
"We express our hope that the pre-election period will be held in a constructive atmosphere aimed at achieving a long-term result," Zakharova added.
