Uzbek president to pay state visit to Georgia

Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to Georgia on July 2–3 at the invitation of Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Report informs, citing the Uzbek president's press service.
During the visit, Mirziyoyev is scheduled to hold talks with Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili and Prime Minister Kobakhidze.
The agenda includes discussions on strengthening the friendship and broad-based cooperation between Uzbekistan and Georgia, with a focus on enhancing political dialogue, expanding parliamentary and regional ties, increasing trade and economic cooperation, and promoting cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
The two sides are also expected to sign a package of bilateral agreements covering various areas of cooperation.
